The talent that the majority (e.g., > 50%) of "civilized" humankind
displays for institutionalized bureaucracy is nothing short of
amazing! Here's a link to an article in The Horse on a National
Steering Committee being formed as a result of the Unwanted Horse
Summit:

I fail to understand why the hell is it SO difficult for people to
practice spiritual LOVE and RESPONSIBILITY? The reality of too many
and "unwanted" horses (or any animal for that matter) is the result
of ignorance and arrogance and a lack of spiritual love. But I
suppose this is simply too difficult for most people to grasp or owe
up to.
When someone chooses to breed any animals (including themselves)
there should be a life-long covenant with the beings that enter this
world that result of such a decision. Sadly in the majority of
instances this is NOT the case.
Rather than owe up to individual responsibility and being spiritually
loving, the solution is to establish another damned "committee" to
deal with the issue of human self-centered ignorance and arrogance.
Oh-my-gosh but being spiritually loving and responsible might affect
the ability to generate revenue and support the already diseased
institutions in place. *gag*
Words without actions are a dead thing. Hmmm, I think I'll go
outside and gawk and the wondrous beings entrusted to my stewardship
as when I consider the world that the majority of "civilized" humans
have made with all the accompanying, smoke, noise and mirrors, it
makes me want to vomit...
I find human spiritual potential squandered in un-loving pursuits is
contemptible!
Disgusted Again,
Darrell
